How To Accumulate Flight Mileage

Mileage is credited for flights taken on or after the date on which you enroll as a JMB member.
 
When making reservations, please provide your JMB membership number.
If you also participate in any of our partners' mileage programs, you must choose the program to which you want your mileage credited by giving only one program's membership number. Duplication of mileage credit between JMB and other mileage programs is not permitted.

If you forget to mention your membership number when making your reservations, be sure to provide it when checking in.

Until your mileage has been credited to your account, please keep (a) your airline ticket copy or e-ticket receipt showing your itinerary and (b) your original boarding passes.

Flight mileage should be reflected in your account automatically 2-4 weeks after the flight.

Mileage balance and activity can be checked in the following ways ;

  • JAL's Web site
  • Automated Telephone Service
    • * Mileage must be claimed within 6 months from your flight date.

The transer or combining of mileage credit between JMB and other mileage programs is not permitted.

How To Request Post-Flight Credit

If you were unable to take necessary steps to accumulate mileage before your flight, or if you find a discrepancy, you may request post-flight credit by sending (a) your airline ticket copy or e-ticket receipt and (b) your original boarding passes along with your JMB membership number to the JMB Center.

* Requests for post-flight credit ( except bonus mileage) will be accepted prior to enrollment provided the requests are made within 6 months from the date of flight.
* Airline ticket and other documents sent to JMB is non-returnable. Please retain a copy until mileage is reflected in your account.
