Hie Jinja
Hie Jinja was erected by Ohota Dokan, the then lord of Kawagoe, when he built Edo castle. The shrine worships a deity from the Kawagoe Sanno Shrine and is famous for playing host to the Sanno festival, one of Tokyo's three major festivals, held annually on or around June 15.

Roppongi Hills
Roppongi Hills, opened in April 2003 and is a complex facility under whose roof offices, residential facilities, a hotel, restaurants, shops and cinemas are gathered. It is directly connected to Roppongi station on the Hibiya subway line and additional attractions include a modern art museum and spectacular 360 degree observatory.

Aoyama Reien Cemetery
Aoyama Reien was one of the first of its kind park style cemeteries when it first opened. Established in 1874, this graveyard has its fair share of prominent scientists, politicians, authors and other influential people lying at. In addition, Aoyama Reien is one of the countless cherry-viewing spots to be found around the city. When spring sets in crowds of people pack in under the radiant tunnels of blossoming cherry trees.

Nezu Iinstitute of Fine Arts
On display at Nezu Institute of Fine Arts is a collection of oriental art objects gathered over many years by Nezu Kaichiro, the founder of the Tobu Tetsudo (Tobu Railways). Altogether, about 7000 objects of Oriental art, including 7 national treasures and 87 important cultural properties can be found within, with frequent rotations of the exhibits necessary to show all the institute possesses. The most commonly viewed items in this collection are the traditional materials used in the tea ceremony and also the religious Buddhist relics. Visitors can also enjoy a vast Japanese garden and a museum shop on the grounds.
Nezu Institute of Fine Arts will close for serval years while its buildings undergo renovation work. The Insitiute is scheduled to reopen in the autumn of 2009.

Kotto Dori
Kotto Dori runs from the front of Kinokuniya (on Highway 246, Aoyama Dori) past Obararyu Kaikan Hall and onto Roppongi Dori. The street is lined on either side with antique shops carrying everything from china to glassware, paintings to tea ware. In recent years, brand shops have also started popping up along this famous Tokyo street.

National children's Castle "Kodomo no Shiro"
"Kodomo no Shiro" is a large children's house. It contains a pool, a fine arts studio, a music lobby, a play hall and other facilities all for children. Furthermore, it offers facilities where adults can have fun with children, such as a video library and a computer room. Kodomo no Shiro also houses a hotel,the Aoyama Theatre and the Aoyama Round Theatre.

Meiji jingo Gaien (The Outer Garden)
Walking along the avenue of ginkgo trees from Aoyama Dori walkers will first come across the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery (Seitoku Kinen Kaigakan) as they enter the outer gardens of Meiji Shrine. With Gaien consisting of the Jingu Baseball Stadium, a golf driving range, a batting practice area and other such facilities, this is truly one of the capital's green hearts.
