Going out from the East Exit of Ikebukuro Station, you come to the Sunshine 60 Building. On the West side of the Sunshine 60 Building is Otome Road, nicknamed Girls' Road. Sunshine City

Sunshine International Aquarium
This aquarium is on the 10th floor of the 40 meter high World Import Mart. The aquarium plays host to fish, birds, and mammals, all within their own ecosystems and the highlight of many a visit to the aquarium comes when the fish are fed and the sea lions play freely. Namco Namja Town

The Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space has been emitting messages of art mixed in with culture for some time now and its somewhat interesting main building lies near the west exit of Ikebukuro's main station. Kishimojin (Goddess of children)
When you walk south from the Ikebukuro area you will soon find yourself in the historic area of Zoshigaya. A stroll along streets lined with the houses of a bygone era, small temples and the locally famous Kishimojin Temple provides for a most pleasant experience. The area can also be reached following a short walk from Kishibojin Station on the Toden Street Car Line after passing through an avenue of zelkova trees, many of which are over 400 years old.
